FAQ’s - Bholanath Rubber Tree Tapping Machine- BH-RT-2000

  • How can one earn 15 lakhs per hectare more per year by using Bholanath Rubber Tree Tapping Machine

    (A) Cambium is not damaged at all using BH-RT-2000 thus it results in increased Tree life and more productivity.

    (B) With BH-RT-2000 tapping bark thickness is set exactly at 1.5 mm, whereas with hand tapping the bark thickness is always more than 2- 3 mm. Therefore with the usage of BH-RT-2000 tree life increases.

    (C) With an average yield of approximately 1000 kg dry rubber per hectare, for the 10 year increase of tree life the yield increase is 10,000 kgs. At today’s rate of Rs. 150 INR it results in Rs. 15,00,000 more income per hectare for the increased plantation life.

    (D) With only a single BH-RT-2000 one can tap 3 hectares in D+2 cycle thus the income for 3 hectares will increase by INR 45,00,000 for the increased life of the plantation by 10 years.

    (E) Huge savings on new plantation costs as the plantation life is increased by minimum 10 years.

  • What kind of warranty on machine and performance on application?

    Tree Tapping Machine & Battery is warrantied for 2 years from the date of sale for any manufacturing defects.

  • Since the membrane thickness on the wood differs from tree to tree, will it be automatically adjusted by the machine or manually required while doing the tapping?

    Automatically adjusted by the machine.

  • Have you got the proven record of the performance of the machine confirming that it will not spoil tree as it is sensitive if you touch the internal soft wood while cutting the outer membrane which produces latex? If you cut the soft wood internally, it will bulge shortly and further using the new membrane growing on the wood will not be possible.

  • I would like to know the effectiveness on the long run especially without removing more thickness of the membrane during daily tapping.

  • Is it a set thickness of cutting of the membrane, if so how many millimeter(mm)?

    Life of the tree increases by 15 yrs as you are tapping exactly as per requirement 1 mm to 4 mm and due to sensors tree is not damaged. Bholanath Rubber Tree Tapping machine taps the tree uniformly hence complete latex of the tree is collected. On an average 15 - 18 % more latex per block collection has been recorded.

  • What is the lifetime of the blade?

    Hardened and sharpened blades provided for long life. Warrantied for 2 years against any manufacturing defect.

  • How many blades included in the kit?

    One set blade provided with tool kit.

  • What's the cost of the blade?

    Cost of additional spare blade is Rs. 500.

  • Where I can purchase replacement blades?

    Through our service centre in Kottayam or our Dealer Network.

  • How do you provide training for using the machine?

    Training videos uploaded on our YouTube channel in English and Malayalam
    Training facility is also provided at our showroom in Kottayam, Kerala, India and at our Dealer’s premises.

  • The machine is guaranteed for 2 years inclusive of the Blades and Battery?

    Yes, One no spare cutting blade is provided in the kit.

  • How will you manage/service if there is any defect during the guarantee period of 2 years?

    You can directly contact us and we will resolve if any issue arises asap. We will soon be finalizing a dealer in every area and in future you will get sales and service from the Authorized dealer.

  • What is the life cycle of the Blades provided?

    As per our current trials it should last 2 years in D + 3 tapping cycle for 3 blocks of 400 trees.

  • What is the life cycle of the Battery? Please explain the usage pattern (how many hours in a day X Number of days) ?

    Battery life is 500 charging discharging cycles ( DOD), for example - For 1 hectare in D+1 tapping cycle the battery will last for 2 years. It is advisable to charge the battery quite often to increase its life and not wait for it to discharge, i,e after every day kindly recharge to full.- Usage Pattern - The battery once charged will easily last for 2 tapping days for 2 blocks.

  • Consumables such as Blades and Battery will be made available at short notice?

    Yes, It is and will be always be in ready stock.

  • If we buy a spare battery and keep it in stock (without using it), will its life remain unchanged?

    You will have to use it at least once a month and complete the charging discharging cycle.
